Shillong has a pleasant climate throughout the year. To plan your trip better, here is a seasonal breakup of the seasons when you can visit the city.

March to June : The summer season arrives during the months of March and April. The weather is cool and relaxing. The summers are mild and an excellent time to plan the trip to Shillong. The temperature ranges between a maximum of 24 degrees C and a minimum of 15 degrees C. This is the perfect time for tourists to enjoy plain sightseeing and adventure activities. 
June to September : If you visit during the monsoon month, you can witness average to heavy rainfall in Shillong. This is a great time to enjoy the waterfalls and the scenic beauty of the gorgeous rain-washed shores. The wettest month is July which is not favorable for tourists. 
October to February: During October, rainfall stops, and the weather starts getting cooler. The atmosphere starts chilling in November, after which it can become really cold. The minimum temperature can reach a low of 2 degrees C. The town looks beautiful, and it is also favorable for tourists who like to indulge in outdoor activities. Day 3 :- Shnongpdeng / Dawki

The day excursion will begin after a delicious breakfast, followed by your visit to Krang Suri Waterfalls and Jowai and then return back to Shillong.

Krang Suri Waterfalls 
The Krang Suri Waterfalls is one of the most picturesque waterfalls of Meghalaya with an awesome scenic beauty of tranquil blue waters and lush green surroundings. Once reaching their you will be overwhelmed with its naturality and its beauty.

Jowai 
Then we will visit Jowai,which boast for its scenic beauty, natural lakes, breathtakingly beautiful waterfalls and vast open valleys.

Day 4 :- Shillong

Shillong to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station Drop 
After breakfast, drive to Guwahati. (If time permits, we will take a short tour of Guwahati, including the Kamakhya Devi shrine and other noteworthy sites.) Transfer to the airport or railway station for your next flight.
